Booking FLY KiDS
FLY KiDS is a fun, high energy, family-oriented group of young dancers. This is clean-cut entertainment in every way. You will be proud to say "you booked FLY KiDS".
Corporate and Commercial Events
Fees are normally charged for corporate and other commercial events. Fees typically range from $500 to $1000 for a Houston-area event.
Arts, Charitable, and Other Non-Profit Organizations
Normally there is no fee for performances for events supporting arts, charitable, and other non-profit sponsored events though an honorarium is appreciated to help with the cost of FLYworks' support for FLY KiDS.
Technical Requirements
The size of the performing area needed will depend on the on the number of FLY KiDS dancers and on the pieces being performed. In order to have enough space to move at speed and without crowding the dancers, a space 30 feet wide and 20 feet deep is recommended. More space is better than less space. The stage should be sturdy and safe. Its surface should be smooth and free of splinters. A marley or other vinel dance floor is ideal. Performances are enhanced by the effect of making entrances from "off stage" so that audiences can be "surprised" by the entrance and so that simple quick costume changes can be made without distracting the audience's attention.
Offstage/Backstage
A secure area normally needs to be provided for costumes, equipment, and possessions. We ask that sufficient water be provided as well as access to non-public,
male and female restrooms. If FLY KiDS is on site for a long period of time, food and drinks should be provided.
