FLY KiDS Rehearsals
FLY KiDS normally rehearse on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:00 at The Barnevelder Movement/Arts Complex located near Minute Maid Park, downtown Houston.
Regular attendance is very important.
Typically the company is working on new choreography or preparing for an up-coming performance.
Frequently specialist dance teachers are brought in to work on specific performing skills like breaking, waving, popping, or on-stage performance techniques.
It's a lot of fun. At the same time, it's about making FLY KiDS as good as they can be. Taking it to the next level.
Our goal is simply for FLY KiDS is to be one of the most entertaining dance companies in Houston—youth or adult.
Further, it is our goal for FLY KiDS to be booked for paid performances benefiting its non-profit organization, FLYworks.
Rehearsing and honing performance skills is how FLY KiDS will achieve those goals.
This is what it takes to produce performances like these (below).
