About FLY KiDS Summer Dance Intensive
(July 23-27, 2007)
- Boy and Girl Dancers ages 8 – 14.
-
Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
-
Style modeled after the professional touring
FLY Dance Company.

Performed with FLY KiDS in a public concert at the Barnevelder Theater, bows taken, completion certificates received.

Six hours of instruction daily by FLY Dance Company choreographer
Kathy Wood, FLY KiDS director Rhonda Valencia and Guest Artists.

Students learned Hip Hop, Breaking, Waving, Popping, Theatrical Stagecraft,
and Concert Choreography.

Guest Artist Teachers included:
Mario Jaramillo and Joel Martinez from HAVIKORO
Pat Clark, a Theater Instructor and Dance Judge

30 total hours of instruction by dance professionals.

Monday-Friday Daily Schedule:
9:00-12:00 Dance Technique and Stagecraft
30 minute Lunch
30-minute Team Dance Competitions
1:00-3:30 Concert Choreography
3:30-4:00 Daily Show for Parents
(Friday's Student Concert 3:00-4:00)
