FLY KiDS Will Entertain at the AKA Sorority's "Fashionetta Pagent "
at Tyler's Ornelas Activity Center
7:00pm, Sat., Apr. 28
Fashionetta pagents are events produced by the AKA Sorority to provide scholarships to students. It promises to be an exciting night for those competing, their friends and families, and the general public. FLY KiDS will perform "MJ" (a Michael Jackson inspired piece) and "Cool Pops" (a tribute to pop music greats including James Brown, The Flamingoes, Michael Jackson, and Nat King Cole). Many thanks for the invitation!!
Another Trip to Dallas for "Dance Celebration"

FLY KiDS make their second appearance at this annual, week-long tap festival produced by the
Dance Council of North Texas. It will be held at Fair Park outside the Music Hall prior to the presentation of the summer musical.
Last year FLY KiDS wowed them with their "Cool Pops" hip hop piece. This year they will see what they can do with their newly developed tap dance skills and a lot of showmanship. Wish us luck!

FLY KiDS at the Smith County Kids Fest -

FLY KiDS made their debut appearance at Tyler's Broadway Square Mall performing a fast-paced, 30-minute show featuring five different choreographed pieces from the FLY KiDS repertory. Kids Fest highlighted the many organizations providing activities and services for area children and parents! Sincere thanks to the Texas Dept. of Family & Protective Services (particularly Susan and Charlotte) and the management of Broadway Square Mall for this opportunity.
Roadtrip to Dallas for "Dance Planet 16" -

FLY KiDS made their second appearance at this annual festival produced by the
Dance Council of North Texas. FLY KiDS performed, saw other dance groups, and did extremely well in the dance workshop taught by
Teresa Espinosa,
known
for her work on America’s Best Dance Crew. Afterwards, they went to the Dallas Contemporary Dance Studios for a private tap lesson provided for them by the Dance Council.
Thanks loads Dance Council for the lesson and new tap shoes!
FLY KiDS a Hit at the "Hair Fashion Show"
at Tyler's Liberty Theatre -

FLY KiDS performance of the edgy "Lose Yourself" had audience members asking, "Where is this group from!" Answer: "Right here in Tyler, Texas."
FLY KiDS Guest Performers at
Chapel Hill Highlighters Concert - Fri. & Sat. , Mar. 2 & 3
FLY KiDS were well received by the Highlighters' audiences. The concert's purpose was to honor organizations that provide
charitable services. The Highlighters chose
FLY KiDS to be the area organization that they would support with a generous donation
of 10% of the concert's proceeds. Many thanks, Highlighters!!
